Short Description:

Safety gear lever- overspeed governor wire rope-tension wheel- overspeed governor -rope clamp is the first set of mechanical protection measures to ensure that the elevator enters the protection state in time when it is in an abnormal state.

When the running speed of the cabin (safety gear, safety gear lever, overspeed governor wire rope, overspeed governor wheel) is greater than or equal to 115% of the rated speed, the overspeed governor acts, and the brake rope block presses the overspeed governor wire rope to make it stop running. And drive the safety gear lever to make the safety gear move

Scope of use

Safety gear is divided into instantaneous safety gear and progressive safety gear. Instantaneous safety gear is used for elevators of ≤0.63m/s, and progressive safety gear is used for elevators of >0.63m/s.
